Do you think it's okay for a five year old to be running around with a cell phone?
Personally, I think that they're not responsible enough to keep track of it, like the would lose it or break it a lot more. Also, why in the world would a little kid need a cell phone? I think that the minimum age to have a cell is about 12, just so you know if that kid is responsible or not.
So, what do you guys think is an appropriate age for a cell phone?

I think 11-13 is a good starting age. It all depends on how responsible the kid is.
My dad's 38 and is constantly loosing his cell phones. Lol. XD [/center]

I think maybe 12 is a good age for having a mobile but not really little kids will just loose it or brake it.

Little kids shouldn't need cell phones, as they are constantly being cared for and looked after by older people. So maybe people from the age of 11+ because they might want to be able to contact friends or family if going out somewhere.

I think giving a young child a mobile is pointless because they will probably break it, plus young kids are hardly ever away from their parents/guardians.

Yeah young kids under 12 shouldn't have a cell phone, what if they don't know how to use it? Well, if their parents teach them or whatever um... kids would forget how
